This course also increases students’ understanding of relationship stages and types, self-concept formation, and aspects that influence interpersonal communication, such as power and conflict.

Fall This course introduces fundamental principles and practices of effective verbal communication in a variety of contexts involving public speaking. Students develop knowledge, skills, and abilities in voice production, nonverbal communication, confidence, and poise necessary to produce optimal verbal presentations.
