Description
Program Description The Surgical Technology Program requires students to acquire entry-level knowledge in the field of surgical technology. Students will demonstrate excellent skills competencies, and develop professional interpersonal skills and attitudes required for successful employment and work successfully in the operating room. Students will prepare to become competent entry-level Surgical Technologists.

      10. All requirements must be completed before applying to the Surgical Technology program. You must earn a grade of C+ or higher in BIOL 2320/2325, and it may be taken only twice and must have been completed within five years of the start of the program. The other prerequisites must be completed with a C grade or better. NOTE: BIOL 1610 /BIOL 1615 , although not required for the program, are required pre-requisites for selective admissions course requirements (BIOL 2320/BIOL 2325). Students may transfer BIOL 2320/2325 equivalents with appropriate grades without completing BIOL 1610/1615.
