A study of the biblical basis of evangelism and those disciplines of the Christian life of which personal evangelism is the natural outflow. The study includes an examination of biblical passages concerning the need for worldwide cross-cultural witnessing.
This course explores biblical revelation concerning development of spiritual disciplines. In addition, consideration will be given to the various ministries of the Holy Spirit as related to doing the will of God, cleansing from personal sin, and doctrine of sanctification, as well as principles of spiritual growth under grace.
This course serves dual purposes. First, it is the capstone course, giving graduating students a chance to review the knowledge expected in the major and addresses employment and continuing education opportunities. Second, this course gives students ministry experience in which they can develop, practice, and reflect upon ministry under the supervision of a mentor. Students can choose the area of ministry (local church or otherwise) for their internship. 136
