ELTT 1101DC Circuit Fundamentals4

An introduction to direct current circuit theory, analysis, and troubleshooting. Students learn the relationships between charge, current, voltage, resistance, and power, and apply Ohm's Law and Kirchhoff's Laws to series, parallel, and combination circuits. The course covers schematic interpretation, panel layout, and the function of common components including resistors, switches, fuses, lamps, LEDs, diodes, and transistors. XR lab work develops measurement technique with the multimeter, structured fault isolation, and safe practices for working with low-voltage DC systems.
