Exposes students pursuing medical careers to the ethical and legal aspects of health care. Students will be given an overview of what they need to know to be able to give competent care that is within acceptable legal and ethical boundaries. Principles governing the release of information and confidentiality of patient information are discussed.
Is designed for the student who plans to work in the medical field. Terminology relating to the human body systems is introduced. Emphasis is placed on spelling, pronunciation, and meaning of terms.
