NUR 3240Nurse Aide 180 contact hours

This program prepares Level I Nurse Aides who are vital for patient care in nursing homes, hospitals, home health, and physicians’ offices. Nurse Aides help minimize the stress of those who are sick or unable to care for themselves and their family members. Students successfully completing the program receive certificates and will be eligible for the state approved Nurse Aide I competency evaluation to become a Certified Nurse Aide I and listing on the Nurse Aide I Registry. Additional course available for Certified Nurse Aides to become qualified as a Medication Aide.
