ENV 226Environmental Law 3 (3-0) Spring

Prerequisites: Corequisites: This course covers federal laws and acts concerning environmental quality standards and the use of resources, legal procedures for enforcing laws, and problems concerning enforcement. Emphasis is placed on environmental law basics, water quality laws, air quality laws, waste disposal laws, and biological resource protection laws. Upon completion, students should be able to demonstrate an understanding of federal/state environmental laws and their importance to the protection of environmental quality. (2013 FA)
