ANT
2 courses with the subject ANT, each shown exactly as we captured it from the college's catalog, with every element we hold. Where the wording looks broken, that is our reading of the catalog, not the college's text.
Students examine culture through a self-assessment and experiential learning approach. An organizing framework drawn from cultural anthropology is used to understand how different groups respond to universal questions regarding human nature, time, natural environment, valued personality traits, and preferred ways of interacting. Students use this data to examine how ethnic/cultural background influences attitudes towards health and illness, the health care provider, and the health care system. Cross-listed with HUM 2060.
