CH 100Principles of Chemistry3

This course will introduce students to the fundamental principles of inorganic chemistry. It will cover the development of Chemistry as a discipline. Emphasis is placed in the development of atomic theory to the understanding of the nuclear atom and the quantitative descriptions of chemical reactions. This is a preparatory class for CH105 and is recommended for students who have not had a high school chemistry course, who have not yet completed College Algebra, or those who attempted and did not pass CH105 and want to retake it. This fulfills the quantitative requirement of the core. Offered every summer.
