This course is an introduction to the principles of mechanics and heat. The course provides working knowledge of measurement, motion, Newton’s Laws, conservation of energy and momentum, rotational dynamics, properties of matter, and heat energy. (3 hour lecture/2 hour laboratory). Prerequisite: Algebra II in high school.
