This course is an introduction to the historical, philosophical, and methodological approaches to American politics, political theory, comparative politics, international politics, public administration, and constitutional law.
This course is designed to trace the development of the Constitution, the democratic concept of government, and the American legal institutions from their origins to the present, and to acquaint the student with major judicial decisions that have played major roles in shaping and developing the American democratic philosophy of government.
