ASTR 1030^Astronomy4

This course is a study of the universe beginning with the earth-moon system, then the solar system including the sun, planets, and minor bodies, continuing to other stars and galaxies. Prerequisite
Acceptable placement scores or completion of all Learning Support Competencies in Reading, acceptable placement scores or completion of all Learning Support Competencies in Writing or concurrent enrollment in ENGL 0810 as determined by placement, and an ACT Math subscore of 19 (or equivalent) or completion with a grade of C or higher of MATH 1005 , MATH 1130 , or higher.
