MATH 120Seeing, Playing, Deciding – This is Math?3

Students will learn about the beautiful and often surprising interactions between mathematics and three broad areas: the visual arts, games and public policy. MATH 131Introduction to Contemporary Mathematics3

Topics include optimization problems, data handling, growth and symmetry, and mathematics with applications in areas of social choice.
