Spanish I is an introduction that emphasizes fundamentals of listening, speaking, reading and writing the Spanish language. The course is designed to develop student confidence in the use of Spanish and to enable the student to develop proficiencies fundamental to continued study.
Spanish for Law Enforcement presents realistic situations and the specialized vocabulary the law enforcement professionals need in the course of their daily work in order to communicate with Spanish-speaking people. Through personalized questions, vocabulary exercises, dialogue completions, and role play, students will have numerous opportunities to apply what is learned to a wide variety of practical contexts.
Spanish III is a college-level study of Spanish which focuses on grammar, reading, conversation and Spanish culture. This course must be taken in sequence.
