It is used to lay out magazines and books, create high- end advertisements, as well as other print projects that need exacting typographic and layout specifications. InDesign has the ability to produce interactive PDFs and apps for the iPad. In this course, learn how to implement InDesign into the daily workflow of your design career. Students learn to design and build fluid, device-agnostic experiences using grid-based layout systems that adapt seamlessly across screen sizes — ensuring visual consistency and usability from desktop to mobile. The course introduces Bootstrap, the industry’s most widely adopted responsive framework, as a professional tool for structuring and scaling interactive work. Through a series of increasingly complex design challenges, students experiment with multi-column layouts, split content, hidden navigation, and parallax techniques — developing both technical proficiency and the design judgment required to make intentional decisions across varied screen environments.
