DEI 5002Identifying and Addressing Bias

in the Workplace Discrimination in the workplace can often present itself as inconspicuous, indirect, and often unconscious. Even if we don’t mean to offend others, our words and actions can sometimes communicate bias and make others feel excluded. Laws do not always protect against subtle prejudice and, because of its covert nature, it is difficult to observe and frequently goes undetected by both the employee perpetuating the bias and the employee affected by it.
