This course is designed as an intensive introduction to the basics of restorative den- tistry for the dental auxiliary, including rubbe dam applications; placing, carving, and fin- ishing amalgam restorations; light-cured com- posite restorations; coronal polishing, fluoride application, sealants, and crown and bridge temporary restorations. Skills are attained through both lecture and hands-on technical laboratory sessions. Students must earn a grade of B- (80%) or higher.
