Foreign Language Sequence I & II 6 General Electives**** 1 ___ 60 *The Humanities/Fine Arts electives (three courses, one of which must be in literature) must be completed from the following: ART 1030, ARTH 2010, ARTH 2020, ENGL 2110, ENGL 2120, ENGL 2210, ENGL 2220, ENGL 2310, ENGL 2320, MUS 1030, MUS 2110, MUS 2120, PHIL 1030, PHIL 1040, PHIL 2030 or THEA 1030. **The History electives (two courses) must be completed from the following: HIST 1110, HIST 1120, HIST 2010, HIST 2020 or HIST 2030. Students who plan to transfer to UT Knoxville are strongly encouraged to take non-U.S. history courses to fulfill the General Education history requirement. ***The Social Sciences electives (two courses) must be complet- ed from the following: SOCI 1010, SOCI 1020 or SOCI 2010. **** General electives must be selected from courses which are part of a Tennessee Transfer Pathway. Consult the Course De- scription section in this catalog. Courses which are designated as **Not Part of a Tennessee Transfer Pathway** should not be taken as general electives.
