This course introduces students to the principles and practices of scientific inquiry within the natural sciences. Emphasis is placed on the scientific method, measurement, data analysis, and application of core concepts from biology, chemistry, and physics. Through real-world examples, including case studies from forensic science, students will develop skills in observation, critical thinking, and problem-solving that are transferable across scientific disciplines. The course highlights the ways science contributes to human flourishing and responsible stewardship of God’s creation. Course Learning Outcomes: 1. Apply the scientific method to analyze problems, gather evidence, and draw reasoned conclusions. 2. Demonstrate foundational knowledge of concepts in biology, chemistry, and physics. 3. Conduct basic experiments using appropriate tools, measurements, and data analysis. 4. Evaluate real-world applications of science, including forensic examples, to illustrate how scientific principles are used in everyday life and professional contexts. 5.
