TSL 211Foundations of Teaching English Learners3
A foundational course designed to prepare mainstream classroom teachers to work with English Learners (ELs). Students gain an understanding of the linguistic, social, cultural, and academic needs of ELs, as well as research-based strategies to adapt instruction and assessment to meet those needs. Two hours of field-based observation are required. Both semesters and summer session. Prerequisites & Notes Current clearances required.
