Credit(s) The Senior Dance Project course provides students with a culminating educational experience focusing on formally synthesizing and articulating knowledge and skills through the development and presentation of a professional project. Students will organize, plan and present a project based on the project proposal submitted for SDA 445 Professional Practices for Dance. Students will reference courses from the liberal arts and dance curriculum, previous research projects, and student experiences to fully develop, and publicly present, a high quality senior dance project.

Credit(s) The Choreographic Studies course is an advanced study of choreography exploration for solo work as well as small and large group composition. This course is designed to encourage further exploration and conceptual development for the choreographic process. Students will be encouraged to pursue an in depth examination of conceptual choreography for both commercial and concert dance forms through in-class practice. Students will learn introductory skills related to grant writing, marketing, and production.
