The purpose of this course is to prepare the medical laboratory technician student for the clinical experience in the final semester of the program. MLT 220Clinical Hematology/Coagulation4

Within this clinical laboratory based course, the students will be actively engaged in rotations and lectures in hematology and clinical experience in hematology and coagulation. Emphasis will be placed on all the hematologic cell series, anemias, leukemias, and other blood dyscrasias. The student will develop the skills necesary to perform hematoloty and coagulaton lab analysis at entry-level proficiency.
