This course is designed to give the prospective teacher an overview of the music educa- tion profession and to acquaint him/her with the major theories of classroom management with attention to their applicability to music classes. To present the American Sign Language (Ameslan), the deaf language for social and infor- mal conversation. This includes the English idioms made into the language of signs, sign lan- guage idioms in sign language syntax, and the grammatical aspects of Ameslan. Prerequisite: EDU 111 or EDU 112.
