CIS 2470Internship: Computer Information Systems1-4

This course enhances an academic program of study by providing students with practical, supervised internship experience in the fields of cybersecurity and/or IT support. Through hands-on work in real world professional environments, students will apply technical and problem-solving skills to support topics such as cybersecurity operations, system maintenance, end-user support, and incident response. Emphasis will be placed on integrating knowledge from prior coursework to address challenges such as threat detection, user account management, network security, and troubleshooting hardware and software issues. This course may be taken a maximum of 4 times (4 total credits). Offered: All Semesters
