This course covers the fundamentals of grammar, pronunciation, reading, writing, and speaking on a basic level. Students also learn about the culture and history of various Spanish-speaking countries. By the end of the course, successful students will be able to communicate (read, write, listen, speak) on a basic level in the present tense about everyday topics such as greetings, introductions, classes, friends and family, hobbies, and vacations.
