Biostatistics in Public Health provides an introduction to graduate level research methods and biostatistics. Research design methods used in public health and medical research will be investigated. The terminology and concepts unique to healthcare research and biostatistics will be explored. A review of basics statistical analysis will include: descriptive statistics, incidence, prevalence, odds ratios, probability, confidence intervals, hypothesis testing, multivariable methods, non-parametric tests and survival analysis.
