Formal proposal of the capstone design project to be completed in the final semester of the senior year. This course is an integral part of the two semester SFU petroleum engineering capstone design sequence. This course will prepare students for PNGE 498 (Senior Capstone Design). Students in PNGE 497 are expected to generate data and to create a “Project Management Plan” that is suitable for use in guiding the subsequent engineering design activities of PNGE 498
