GB 1011Introduction to the Bible3

This course provides a general introduction to the whole Bible as a foundation for future OT & NT courses. Emphasis is placed upon understanding God’s Word through the lens of redemptive history: as one story with a single, divine author about His own pursuit of those made in His image, to redeem them for His own glory through the life, death, and resurrection of the story’s main character and hero, Jesus Christ. Additional emphasis is placed on gaining a foundational understanding of the doctrine of the Word of God.
