GRK 111ELEMENTARY GREEK I
First semester 3 hours An introduction to the Ancient Greek language and literature. The fundamentals of grammar, pronunciation, and vocabulary will be covered. Emphasis is placed upon sentence structure, with exercises in analysis and translation.
Second semester 3 hours A continuation of GRK 111. By the end of the semester, students will have completed the introductory Greek grammar and also read through the gospel of Mark in Greek. Prerequisite: GRK 111 or equivalent.
