HNR 113INTRODUCTION TO VERITAS
First semester 3 hours This course initiates Veritas students into the ethos of the program so that they learn what a liberal arts educational philosophy entails, academic skills necessary for success in the Veritas program, and how to apply those skills in a plethora of academic contexts. This course supports the overarching goal of Veritas: aiding students in the formation process of a sublime life in the spiritual, intellectual, and moral realms.

Either semester 1 hour Years 3 and 4 allows Veritas students to explore selected academic topics through a liberal arts lens, as they refine and apply the information that they received in HNR 113 and HNR 222. This course will continue to promote peer and interdisciplinary learning through collaboration with other members of the cohort. This course will meet bi-weekly for two hours in the evening. Students in their fourth year will begin to take on more substantial research projects that are specifically tailored to their chosen field of study. May be repeated up to four times for credit. Prerequisites: HNR113 and HNR 222.
