It covers Musical Instrument Digital Interface (MIDI) principles and techniques, as well as the computer applications and outboard equipment used by professional audio engineers. Instruction consists of fifteen 30-minute private music lessons. An additional eight hours are devoted to rehearsing and performing in a recital. Lessons focus on music reading, repertoire development and technique. Students’ choice of study (voice, an instrument or composition) may be limited based on private instructor availability.
