Practicum is designed to help you as the student bridge theoretical learning from classroom experience to direct services with actual clients in an appropriate service agency or educational institution. In order to assure that students have the opportunity to access and improve their counseling skills, supervision is provided by on site supervisors as well as faculty members. The intention of this course is to provide clinical and administrative supervision, support, problem-solving, ongoing development of professional counselors, and a place to explore strengths and weaknesses of developing counseling skills.
