This course introduces basic landforms and geological processes. Topics include rocks, minerals, volcanoes, fluvial process, geological history, plate tectonics, gla- ciers, coastal dynamics. Upon completion, students should be able to describe basic geological processes that shape the Earth. This course has been approved for transfer under the CAA and ICAA as a general education course in Natural Sci- ence. This is a General Education Transfer Component (UGETC) course.
