Class participants visit several museums, and explore and debate evolving ethical positions that have guided museums in their collecting, exhibition, and business practices. and expanding a sense of community. This course develops skills to connect with others over new or familiar ideas using artworks from the Juniata College Museum of Art collection. The class balances background reading with practical application using Huntingdon as a site for experimentation. All POEs encouraged.

"stories" (exhibitions) at the Juniata College Museum of Art or similar sites using cultural objects, language, color, built environment, technology, public programming, while developing practical skills. Creativity, problem-solving, and communication are key to creating projects that benefit the public. Prerequisite: Take one of the following: AR-104, AR-117, CM-240, CONN-394, MM-391, or MM-393. Instructor permission required.
