This course focuses on explaining the economic choices made by individuals, households and firms. Topics to be covered will include consumer choice, supply and demand and markets, production and costs, economic efficiency, and market structure.

This course introduces game theory and its applications from a variety of disciplines. Consideration is given to both empirical and experimental tests and behavioral implications.
Focuses on the global economy in an era of shifting borders, restructuring economies, and regional realignments. Emphasizes the strategic implications for businesses of globalization, analyzing policy options regarding international economic issues and on collecting and interpreting international data.

This course will introduce forecasting and time series analysis, focusing on regression-based forecasting models, autoregressive and moving average methods (Box-Jenkins ARIMA), and GARCH models. A hands-on approach to learning is utilized.
1 TO 12 The student is placed with a business firm, bank, government agency or nonprofit organization performing economics-related tasks. The internship experience offers a practical training ground for students that supplements academic training by permitting them to apply the theories, concepts and techniques learned through coursework.
