This course is designed to educate entry level alcohol and drug counselors in accordance with the American Society of Addiction Medicine requirements and PA’s Department of Drug and Alcohol Prevention Program Certification requirements. Specifically, students will engage material in preparation for the successful completion of the International Certification and Reciprocity Consortium’s Alcohol and Drug Counselor Examination.
