0 TO 15 This course is designed for majors in the computing-disciplines who are seeking work experience in a related area. This intern experience will enable the student to apply her/his educational background in his/her field to a real work place. The internship will provide the student with the valuable experience that should enhance the student’s job opportunities upon graduation. Variable credits (1-15) depending on the length of the internship and the number of hours devoted to the internship.
Students should have completed 64 credits with a good grade-point average plus have sufficient background to meet the needs of the particular internship in which they will be participating.

This course focuses on both theoretical and applied topics of interest in plant and forest biology, ecology, and/or taxonomy, and related fields of study. Emphasis is placed on critical thinking, synthesis of core principles, and application of knowledge to complex biological, ecological and taxonomic questions. Course content varies across offerings, but may include topics such as dendrology, forest management, plant identification, ecology or taxonomy, and methods for field sampling and analysis. May be repeated for credit when topics differ. Pre-requisites vary by topic.
Studio concentration in developing, intensifying and enhancing expressional processes as they relate to sculpture. Emphasis on individual initiative in both the development and execution of sculptural problems. The scope of materials and techniques will be extensive, ranging from some of the conventional sculptural media to the most recent materials and techniques. Out of class research is required.
A survey of fine and professional artists helps students contextualize their own career aspirations. Personalized instruction and class critique prepare students to articulate a unified personal aesthetic of style and content through a cohesive portfolio of both digital and physical materials. Performance-oriented field training in the plastics injection molding field. Emphasis is on student competency with equipment operation and troubleshooting. Course is only available to students in the Applied Technology Associate of Applied Science - Plastics Injection Molding program. This course is only available off-campus through a participating Training Partner.
Students are placed with an organization for a practical training experience to supplement academic learning. Through coursework coincidentally with their experiential placement, students apply the theories, concepts, and techniques learned for further career readiness and success.

This course focuses on the application of the best current evidence-based nursing practice in acute care settings to individuals across the lifespan while integrating interdisciplinary collaboration in acute care. Evidence-based nursing practice is utilized as it relates to the care of maternal, newborn, and pediatric clients as well as clients with musculoskeletal, gastrointestinal, and gynecologic dysfunction for delivery of optimal health care.
