(Prerequisites: Students must have senior standing and be on track to graduate with the distinction of honors [approved by program director]. This requires completion of at least 6 honors business core courses, a cumulative GPA of at least 3.5, and completion of at least 4 co-curricular honors seminars and/or workshops. Open to all Busines Honors Students; required for those admitted in Fall 2026 and after.) This course is the first in a two-course sequence for the Business Honors Project. Under faculty mentorship, students will begin formulationg project topics, conducting a literature review, and developing the appropriate research or consulting methodology. The course lays the foundation for the second course in the sequence, which will culminate in a final written report and a senior seminar presentation.
(Prerequisites: Cumulative GPA of at least 3.5, DEPT 483AK , completion of all business honors coursework; with permission of the program director, may be taken with DEPT 483AK as corequisite. Open to all Busines Honors Students; required for those admitted in Fall 2026 and after.) This is the second in a two-course sequence for the Business Honors Project. Building on the foundation established in DEPT 483AK, students will carry out the research or consulting plan developed in the first course. Under faculty mentorship, they will collect and analyze data, refine their work through iterative drafts, and produce a final report along with a formal senior seminar presentation. The course emphasizes independent work, critical thinking, and professional communication, culminating in an oral defense before a faculty panel.
