PUBH 210 or NURS 251 and NURS 310 available to other qualified students with permission of instructor.) This seminar is organized around a community health issue. Students will analyze the issue from an interprofessional, collaborative lens and develop transdisciplinary public health strategies to address the health issue. The course culminates with a written research paper, and an oral presentation that will be formally presented to the community.

The 120-hour supervised internship is designed to provide an opportunity for students to use the concepts, techniques and theories learned in the classroom in professional public health settings.
