An introductory course in the construction craft. Students will gain a basic knowledge of construction safety, hand and power tools, blueprint reading, and an introduction to concrete and building related materials.
This course provides students with knowledge and skills concerning foundations and slab on grade methods, and methods for reinforcing, handling and placing concrete and introduces distance measuring and leveling techniques.
