SEMI 505Introduction to Ministry Studies3
This course serves as an introduction to foundational concepts for ministry training. Special attention will be given to the competencies necessary for research and writing and Bible study tools.
The residency is designed for those with limited full-time, paid vocational ministry experience. The ministry, mentor, and nature of involvement must be approved in advance by the program director or the Office of Experiential Learning. Residency involves work in an applied ministry setting where students continue to apply, adapt, and improve their skills in a supervised ministry situation. In order to complete this residency, students must be working and/or serving in a church or ministry under the supervision of a qualified ministry leader and complete a minimum number of hours as prescribed by the program director.
