ENTP 1010Startup: An Introduction to Entrepreneurship3

Effective Date 10/21/2015 The Startup class is a fourteen-week course-plus-simulation designed to provide students with not only the basic tools and vocabulary of new ventures, but also a sense of what it feels like to start, fund, and manage such a venture. The course, by way of in-class case discussions, mentored group work, and startup simulations introduces students to a broad range of issues faced by founders and funders of both for-profit and non-profit ventures.

ENTP 3501Business Essentials, Reflections, and Virtual Applied Micro Internship3

Effective Date 05/01/2025 Students must first complete several self-paced asynchronous modules called Business Essentials, which cover introductory content in marketing, finance, strategic management, and accounting. Students will also engage in online synchronous coursework and write reflections on the psychology of decision-making, influencing, and teamwork. Concepts from both the online modules and coursework will be applied to a virtual, team-based micro internship.
