Students employ clinical judgment in the delivery of safe and effective nursing care. Emphasis is placed on the practice and refinement of more advanced clinical and organizational abilities through psychomotor skills performance, and direct patient care. Communication, collaboration, coordination, and consultation are emphasized in providing care. Personal responsibility and conduct consistent with the ANA Code of Ethics and University core values are stressed.
