5 courses with the subject ATC, each shown exactly as we captured it from the college's catalog, with every element we hold. Where the wording looks broken, that is our reading of the catalog, not the college's text.
ATC 101Introduction to Air Traffic Control3
The purpose of this course is to learn about the air traffic control system from both the controller and pilot’s perspectives. This course is the first of six courses for the Air Traffic Control Certificate path, and a prerequisite for Introduction to Tower Operations (ATC201). Credit(s): 3
This course will present the study of “general control” procedures used in the terminal control options as well as FAA flight service processes and procedures. This course serves as a prerequisite course for ATC Tower Simulation (ATC301). Credit(s): 3
The primary focus of this course is to study visual air traffic control procedures, specifically, to learn the principles of operation and the separation methods required in the air traffic control tower environment. Credit(s): 3
This course provides students an opportunity to apply knowledge learned in previous air traffic control courses, specifically ATC 202, and expand the knowledge base of terminal ATC procedures. The application and expansion of knowledge will occur in lecture, “tabletop” exercises, and working in a high fidelity, simulated ATC tower environment. Credit(s): 3
This course provides students with an opportunity to apply knowledge learned in previous air traffic control courses and expand the knowledge base of terminal ATC procedures. The application and expansion of knowledge will occur in lectures and through working in a high-fidelity, simulated ATC tower environment. Successful completion of the Final Lab Assessments, the Final Exam, and this course with a 70% or higher is required to receive a recommendation letter to the FAA as a graduate from an Enhanced AT-CTI Program.
