CROP 1150Pesticide Safety and Application1

This course covers safe handling, use and disposal of chemicals. Students then apply this information to a study of herbicides, insecticides and fertilizers. Students become familiar with the selection and safe application methods of various chemicals. Particular attention will be given to environmental concerns. Students who complete the course will be eligible to take the Wyoming Private or Commercial Applicators examination. The successful completion of this exam qualifies them to purchase and use restricted use chemicals. Minimum
