This is a period of appraisal In regard to student aptitudes and abilities. INTRODUCTION TO MACHINE TOOLS. The student undertakes approximately thirty specific machine shop projects from blueprints. The basics of drill press, power hack saw, verticle mill, horizontal mill, lathe, and grinder operation are taught. 52
