Students gain the fundamental concepts and skills necessary for nursing practice. Emphasis is placed on patient-centered care, safety, evidence-based practice, and clinical reasoning. Students prepare for the Next Gen NCLEX by gaining theoretical knowledge, developing practical skills, and analyzing case studies. Integration of the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN)’s four spheres of care helps students develop competencies in preventive health, management of chronic conditions, support of recovery and rehabilitation, and the provision of compassionate end-of-life care, aligning with the highest standards of nursing practice. For BSN (Prelicensure) students only. Cannot be fulfilled by transfer or credit for prior learning.

Students gain essential skills and knowledge required to excel in nursing practice. Over ten weeks, students engage in a variety of hands-on activities, simulations, and discussions to prepare for real-world clinical scenarios. Students gain confidence and competency in performing a wide range of nursing skills, from basic patient care to advanced procedures. Special Permission is required for registration.
