Within the skills laboratory setting, students practice nursing procedures using mannequins, medical equipment, and simulation tools designed to replicate clinical environments. Under faculty supervision, students learn and perform foundational nursing skills in a controlled setting that supports skill development, competency evaluation, and professional growth. Skills laboratories are designed to prepare students for safe participation in clinical experiences by reinforcing the integration of theoretical knowledge with practical application. Successful completion of all required skills laboratory components is necessary to progress within . the program and to meet program, accreditation, and licensure requirements.
