This course investigates the challenges of small businesses to gain understanding for some of the common processes involved in operating new ventures. Students will be exposed to the tools needed to navigate important financial, legal, marketing, and managerial decisions when creating and growing a sustainable small business. The design thinking course introduces students to a robust process for understanding problems, ideation, innovation, and entrepreneurship.
