This course examines supply chain management, the integration of all activities associated with the flow of materials and information from product start to customers' receipt. Examples include order processing, warehousing, inventory management, transportation and logistics, and the costs and information systems supporting these activities. Particular attention will be paid to global logistics systems supporting port and maritime activities.
